MODULE 1.Introduction to Health and Safety Law MODULE 2.Risk Assessment MODULE 3.Workplace Safety MODULE 4.Workplace Welfare MODULE 5.Manual Handling and Display Screen Equipment MODULE 6.Hazardous Substances and Working at Height MODULE 7.Noise, Vibration and Vehicle Safety Aims of the course By completing this training, you will: • Have knowledge of key health and safety topics and how to ensure good practice within them. • Understand the responsibilities of employers and employees under health and safety legislation. • Understand the importance of, and the key factors in, undertaking a risk assessment to prevent and control hazards. • Know the hazards and ill health effects associated with specific work activities and processes. Assessment There will be an assessment at the end of this course, student will be asked 30 multiple choice questions with a pass mark of 80%. If you fail on your first attempt, you have the chance to retake the test 3 times to pass.
