KITCHEN ASSISTANT

Job Description

  • Help support the cook to deliver the menu to expected standard.

  • Washing, peeling and preparing food ingredients

  • Using equipment such as mixers, special knives and cutters

  • Reviewing kitchen inventory and determining what items are needed

  • Unloading fresh supplies and organising the stockroom

  • Checking sell-by dates and rotating food stock

  • Cleaning kitchen appliances, ovens, dishes and pans

  • Observing cooking times and correct temperatures

  • Includes washing dishes and cleaning in between cooking and food preparation

Barista & Cashier

Job Description - Training Provided 

  • Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, espresso, and specialty drinks,

  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences

  • Operate coffee-making equipment such as espresso machines, grinders, and brewers

  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and work area

  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently

  • Maintain inventory of supplies and restock as needed

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods

  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns

  • Patience to learn and exercise good time management skills to handle multiple tasks within your responsibilities

  •  Ability to work well in a team setting and communicate effectively with colleagues
